I mean, sure they played a lot of crap but there was a time when they were on top of it. Like when I used to work there to pay off for school. Don’t judge me, you’ve worked at some place you prolly didn’t want to either. I’ve never worked fast food though so you got nothing on me~ Hahaha. Anyway, where was I? Right, I was surprised when they started playing Dizzee Rascal “Fix Up, Look Sharp” And later on played another track “Dreams.” Now you know how you listen to an artist that no one has ever heard of or listen to? And it’s like a gem when you listen to it or when others hear it you’re just like, “Nah kid, I’m not telling you who it is” Dizzee Racal was one of em, and to hear it at AE? Yea, I was hella surprised. Someone at headquarters was doing something right. Another one of those artists I called out was Lilly Allen! You can ask DJ Pain 1 about this too, I sent him an advance copy of her album waaaaaaaay before she came to the states and said she’s gonna be big. And there she is now~ The Fall Guys, both Pain 1 & Starr as well as El Guante can vouch for me on this one. I got a sense for good music! Anyway, before I keep going off, Dizzee Rascal on this one, “Flex” off the Math & English Album. Get On It!
