KRAZE

KRAZE Burger | Review

So, last time I reviewed Thunder Burger and gave you a taste of home. Today, I give you KRAZE Burger. A burger joint you haven’t tried but since you’re in Seoul and you’re craving a burger, you decide to go in. BUT, instead of staying you leave cuz you don’t want to pay for a burger that costs over $10. I know, we all face these problems going into a new restaurant and thinking, is it really worth it? Dishing out all the money for a simple burger, a taste of home? To some perhaps, for me? I’m on a budget, and I like my foods ridiculously good if I’m paying that much. Any plate that starts at $20+ should be able to put me in a food coma after the first few bites. You know what I’m saying…. I feel like I’m talking to my stomache. Anyway~ Moving on! Still craving that burger? READ ON!

KRAZE Burger, pronouced, Kra-Zay Burger by the locals here or just KRAZE burgers by us foreigners~ Either way, you’ll end up in here sooner or later. With it’s many locations throughout Seoul, you’ll be sure to spot one on your ventures outdoors! For my LA friends that love Fat Burger~ This might be the closest thing you’ll ever get to one. And trust me, it’s a good burger. SPOILER ALERT! You can add extras including patties and, that’s right, fried egg! You’ll see in the photos below~ Anyway, this place kinda gives you a diner feel, like every place in Corea, even fast food becomes a sit down restaurant. You’ll see what I mean when you come. The menus are pretty cool, got that cartoon feel to them, no English menu from what I’ve seen though. But there’s pictures assigned to each item.

The burgers here are juicy, and actually big! I mean, I can still take bites out of it but my two friends were cutting it up in peices before devouring their’s which gave me enough time to eat 2 of these burgers YUM! The burgers come out perfectly cut in half for hand to mouth pleasure with a side of pickles and peppers. And with a well rounded menu and drinks, this place is pretty cool to take your girl to, or maybe you just wanna take your homies there after session~ By the way, the pictures are from the Itaewon* location. Again, the food is pricey~ But they’re good burgers. Lucky for me, I started an “eating club” where we go around taking turns and paying for the meals. As you can guess, it wasn’t my turn. Although, tonight I’m taking them to YUM THAI! I reviewed this place awhile back. You can check out THAT review by clicking HERE. So, craving that Fat Burger Taste at Applebee prices? Go for it! Jokes aside, the burgers here are great, well cooked, perfect size for you fat Americans…. like me. The fries are pretty good too. They got your wedges, which come with a little bit of ketchup and sour cream that’s a little sweet, like they added a hint of honey. You know the Honey-Butters from Golden Corral? Yea, it’s like that but sour cream. And they have your crinkle-box cut fries they serve with chilli, aka Chilli Fries. The chilli though…. not so great. Think Hormel’s chilli, but less sweet… no wait! The bean version! Yea, it’s not as sweet and it’s got a tiny kick to it. Enough spice that you can feel a hint of it but at the same time you know it’s not spicy enough to really feel it. So you can gorge yourself. And finally topped off with some chopped onions. All prepared fresh! The fries are cooked as you order them so it’s good. The service and food are of high quality. You can expect a good meal out of them. Rating? I give them 3.283 Stars. Also, let me know what you think of the new imgae format in the comments below! Stay? Or go back to the old layout? GOOD EATS! And GET ON IT!

Oh and I forgot to mention the most important condiment offered here. TABASCO! Good luck finding that ANYWHERE in Seoul City!

*Itaewon
Most famous for their diverse culture pot. Lots of foreigners like to hang out there for obvious reasons. Lots of foreigners and to some, it feels like home. It’s dirty, you got hooker hill, tranny hill, an American army base, Canadiens, Middle Easterners and Africans. But if you’re into that sort of thing~ Hahahaha, but I will say this. You can get Red Bull here, better beer and alchohol selections (aside from the famous Corean soju) and good eats. I only go here for the food. I need to review this Brazilian BBQ, it’s to DIE FOR! No joke. Oh and, you can get around by speaking English…. most of the time.
